Determination of presentation method: -
With your speech in organization you are ready to begin preparation for presenting it. At this time you will need to decide on your method of presenting. Choose one of this following:-
(a) Extemporaneous presentation:-
Extemporaneous presentation is by for the most popular and effective method. Using this method you first thoroughly prepare your speech then you pre-pore notes and present the speech form them. Usually you rehearse making sure that all parts are clarity in mind.

(b) Memorizing: -
Memorizing presentation is the most difficult method. There is few speaker’s actually memorize an entire speech. Instead they memorize key parts and use notes to help them through the presentation.

(c) Reading: -
A third method of presentation is by reading. It is also a difficult method because most of us do not read a loud well. We read in dull monotone the producing a most uninteresting effect. We fumble over words, lose our place, miss punctuation marks etc.

Consideration of personal aspect: -
A preliminary step to good speech making is to analyze yourself as a speaker. In oral presentation speaker is a essentially part of the massage. Audience takes is not only the words you communicate but they see in you. Because you are a part of message.

You stood seek the following four characteristics when you give your presentation:-

(a) Confidence: -
A primary trait of effective oral reporting is confidence. This includes you confidence in your self then your audience confidence in you. If you are confident you give the better presentation. you have the strong voice, you provide the right image of the report. So confidence is the most important for the speaker.

(b) Sincerity: -
Your listener’s quick to detect insincerity in you, when they do, they are likely to give little weight to what you say on the other hand. Sincerity is a valuable aid to conviction, if the audience has confidence in your ability. What you can do to project an image of sincerity is clear.









(c) Thoroughness: -
Thoroughness coverage gives the impression that you have taken time and care. And such an impression tends to make the message believable. If you present the information in too much detail, your listener’s may become lost in sea of information. So select the important information and leave out unimportant matter.

(d) Friendliness: -
A speaker who projects an image of friendliness has a significant advantage in communicating. People simply like that people who are friendly. Speaker should behave friendly if behave of the speaker is the friendly then audience ask the question friendly.

Audience analysis: -
One requirement of good speech making is to know your audience. You should study your audience before and during the presentation: -

(a) preliminary analysis
(b) analysis during the presentation

Preliminary analysis: -
In analyzing your audience before the speech, you should search for your audience traits that will affect your presentation. traits such as age, sex, education, experience and knowledge of subject matter.

Analyzing during the presentation: -
Your audience analysis should continue as you make the speech called feedback. This phase of audience analysis gives you information about how your listener’s are receiving your words. With this information, you can adjust your presentation to improve the communication result.

Your eyes and ear’s will give feedback information. For example, facial expression’s will you tell you how your listener’s are reacting to your message.

Appearance and body actions: -
As your listener hear your words they are looking at you. Your audience see what you surrounds you. What is your body language and your hands movement etc.















Your audience forms impressions from the following factors: -

 Communication environment
 Personal appearance
 Posture
 Walking
 Facial expression
 Gestures

1. This includes the physical thing the stage, lighting and background etc for the best communication results.
2. Your personal appearance is the part of the message that your audience receive. You should use body language and facial expression.
3. It means your audience see in you. Even if listener’s cannot be close enough to detect facial expressions and eye movement, they can see the general from the body takes.
4. A strong, sure walk to the speaker’s position give an information of confidence. Walking about during the presentation can be good or bad it depends on speaker.
5. If your facial expression not good or no facial expression it conveys a wrong message. Eyes contact is an important thing in presentation. the eyes have longer been considered mirror’s of the soul.
